| Log on to the Internet with your ISP (Internet
Service Provider). Open Outlook Express.
In some cases, when you start Outlook Express, it will
auto-start a setup wizard. If this wizard does not
automatically start, you will need to follow the below steps in order to
set your computer up to receive your union email.
If the setup wizard does start,
click here for the
setup instructions.
STEP 1: Click on File, Identities, Manage
Identities.

To view the actual size, click on this image.
STEP 2: Click New.

STEP 3: Type in a name for your identity, such
as "L2969 Mail".

STEP 5: Click Yes.

When prompted about staying connected to the Internet,
click YES.
STEP 6: Type in your name.

STEP 7: Type in your email address (i.e.
john.doe@iaff2969.com).

STEP 8: Type in the POP3 & SMTP server names.
Incoming mail server: pop.iaff2969.com
Outgoing mail server: smtp.iaff2969.com
ROADRUNNER
USERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the outgoing mail server, type in:
smtp-server.cfl.rr.com

STEP 9: Type in your email account name and
password.

STEP 10: Click Finish.

You're now finished setting up Outlook Express
Click "Send/Recv" to retrieve any unread email.

IMPORTANT!!!
If you use a dial-up service for your Internet
Provider (AOL dial-up, Netzero, Juno,
etc...etc...)You will not be able to send mail using the iaff2969 mail
account.
Most web hosting companies that offer email accounts but, are not an
Internet
Provider put safety measures in place so that their servers are more
secure.
If you're unable to send iaff2969 email due to your dial
up connection, web based email is available too.
